What is the most foundational aspect of experience? The answer that is coming up for me when I think about this is: that it is happening. This precedes that stories of what an experience is, certainly what it means. The fact of experience as it happens. This is partly on my mind because I’ve spent a fair amount of time in rooms lately where the stories, the outcomes, the hows of experience were being discussed. Strategy to have a certain kind of experience were being shared. Even strategies to help others have a certain kind of experience - rather, to behave a certain way (in order to help craft a certain experience). But it seems that this fundamental is generally missing. I can imagine it’s largely because most people don’t spend a lot of time reflecting on existence as a conscious topic. I get it, I’m a bit of a weirdo in that way. That said, wouldn’t it be nice if we drilled down to the foundations of things from time to time?
