The Horizon

The light is rapidly departing. We’re heading into hibernation season. I’ve been wearing sweaters.

This is often a hard time if year for me, especially when the rain (not to mention the cloudy skies) comes in. I’ve been tracking the movement of the sun this year. I’m surprised, actually, by how soon the winter solstice is.

The antidote for me (at least right now) is in the recognition that in the other side of that, the light returns.

There is always something on the other side if the horizon.
