What’s important
Today was full. And it was amazing. And it had it’s hard moments. Mostly, it was deeply satisfying. I’m not quite sure how it happened, but I (essentially) had four meetings1, each very different. They all flowed together. In some ways, they ended up informing each other. I suspect I’ll be processing the day all weekend. Good thing it’s the weekend!
Sometimes, what we need to do is to schedule a very strange day, and let it unfold. And let it tell us what’s important.
Of course I don’t think of lunch with my wife as a meeting. Though I thought I’d simplify here to make writing this a bit easier. Something that I almost immediately undid with this footnote. :-)↩
