Even on a day like today…
The sun’s out in Seattle today. It’s like springtime. It’s…amazing. (If a little scary). So the city kinda feels alive. It doesn’t seem like it matters that people are going to have a nightmare commute in the morning.
I was going to say that it doesn’t feel like it matters that hundred’s of thousands of federal employees missed a paycheck on Friday, but it totally matters.
Perhaps this sunny day just adds to the craziness of our times.
It would be easy to take our eye off the ball here.
Perhaps we should try harder on a day like this to pay attention to what matters (though the sun matters…believe me!).
