Shape of the world

The shape of the world is determined by so much more than what is out there. So much of what is in here determines what I/we see, hear, feel. So much is determined by the layers of stories, beliefs, experiences. So much is determined by the conditioning that is brought to us by culture, family, socio-economic status. Race, religion, geography. The world isn’t fixed. It’s multitude. Is this what they mean by the multi-verse? Is it what Whitman meant when he said

(I am large, I contain multitudes.)

?

Certainly, this can only mean that it makes more sense to be kind. To love. To see each other within each other.
