Day to day
I can’t even begin to imagine how much energy I’ve “wasted” fighting against the expression of life just as it is in my day-to-day. Trying to be one thing or another. Not allowing myself to be present with what’s, um, present.
It’s one of the reasons I love Amanda Palmer’s song In My Mind. The journey she takes us on is one that points to the unfolding of learning to love who we are, because that’s who we are supposed to be. Not some commercialized version. No matter what capitalism tells us. Imagine that.
